❋
Some questions you might have.
-
❋ Knowing your needs eases suffering
Needs-Based modalities embody the attitudes that all people have universal needs, those needs are sacred, and all needs are worthy of being met. Unmet needs are the root of all suffering. Met needs are the root are happiness!
-
❋ Empathy and Empowerment
Many of my clients are very empathetic toward others but struggle to find empathy for themselves. Empowerment is the process of learning to connect to our own and others’ feelings and needs, and regard them as sacred, universal, and worthy. I’ll show you how to identify and name emotions, articulate met and unmet needs, and develop fluid strategies in order to meet those needs.
-
❋ Astrology
Through the ancient art of astrology, we can find support, guidance, and clarity around the lifelong themes of our needs and strategies. I’ve developed a way to view an astrological chart through a Needs-Based lens. Astrology can help us fast-track our Empathy and Empowerment work giving us a shortcut to what areas of need are activated in the current moment. Each week, we will tune into the zodiac season, a major planetary alignment, the moon phase, or a prominent retrograde to help us make sense of the moment.
Deep without being heavy.
Perhaps one of the most important things to know about my groups is that we laugh a lot, and we also make space for grief and tears. Together, we navigate the inner and outer cycles of joy and sorrow, all while releasing shame, blame, and judgement. Astrology is relational, and we will let the stars guide us in building healthier, happier relationships with ourselves and others.
Each zodiac season brings particular human needs into focus. Together, we attune to those needs, explore how we currently try to meet them, and practice more life-giving strategies rooted in Empathy and Empowerment.
-
Learn how to identify your core needs and the strategies you use to meet them.
Transform shame, guilt, and self-judgment into self-regard and compassion.
Build stronger, more honest relationships, and find the courage to change or leave toxic dynamics.
Develop real, repeatable skills for conflict resolution and clear communication.
Face long-avoided fears with support, and begin moving toward what you want instead of running from it.
Experience deeper presence, pleasure, and emotional resilience in your daily life.
Have a consistent, weekly place to grieve personal and collective losses without being rushed or fixed.
Build your astrological fluency and learn a new approach to interpreting charts that prioritizes joy and fulfilment.
You’ll also form real intimacy with your cohort: a small group of up to eight people who show up together each week and learn how to witness one another with care.
-
These groups are for people who are:
Spiritual but not religious, or are practicing within organized religion
Grounded in compassion, consent, and non-violence
Committed to upholding the inherent worth of all people
Curious about astrology as a reflective and relational tool
Wanting support that is structured, ethical, and emotionally adept
This is an especially good fit if:
You want a supplement to therapy, or
Therapy hasn’t felt accessible, affordable, or aligned for you
-
It’s important that you know the signs, planets, and houses as a baseline. I would not suggest these groups for absolute beginners to astrology. If you have a baseline knowledge of astrology, I try to incorporate different levels of fluency with astrology into any prompts or exercises I conduct during our meetings. It is really important that members advocate for themselves if they don’t understand something, and I never mind pausing to explain a concept.
That said, these groups are suitable for advanced beginner, intermediate, and expert astrologers. -
